JOB DETAIL

Business Analyst – Strong in BRD and overall documentation activities (Healthcare Experience Preferred)

The Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) works as a liaison between key business stakeholders and the Information Technology (IT) department. BSAs are responsible for working with stakeholders to understand their business needs and working with IT partners to evaluate, estimate, plan, and implement solutions that meet the business needs, goals and objectives.

ESSENTIAL KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

· Very strong in Business Requirement Documentation and creation of workflows

· Healthcare Experience Preferred

· Performs project discovery in partnership with service lines, IT COEs, and business stakeholders

· Works with and supports the IT Project owner assigned to the project team with tasks assigned within the workstream.

· Leads testing activities to ensure project and testing resources remain focused on the testing scope.

· Transforms business needs into clearly defined requirements that can feasibly be tested and implemented in a solution.

· Works on one or more workflows as a BSA with focus on eliciting business and functional requirements and documenting them in a business requirements document (BRD).

· Creates and manages traceability matrix to ensure alignment between requirements, design, build, and testing/QA

· Adapts test plans and test cases to each facility, and leads User Acceptance Testing activities.

· Assists IT Product Owner with documentation of current-state workflow reviews and gap analysis in preparation for transitioning to future state standard workflows and technology system.

· Partners with the System office Business Sponsor team, stakeholders, as well as division and facility business stakeholders to evaluate requirements in preparation for system build.

· Assists IT Product Owner with configuration and validation meetings with vendor partners, system office stakeholders, as well as divisional and facility stakeholders across multiple departments (Patient Registration, Emergency Department, Ancillary and Procedural areas, Environmental Services, Patient Transport, and Inpatient Unit).

· Assists IT Product Owner with preparations for super-user training from coordination of training rooms and training sessions.

 

Minimal Qualifications

· Must be highly skilled and experienced working with Google, Microsoft Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, & Word.

· Effectively manages time and balances multiple priorities.

· Experience with the Epic is required.

· Experience with the Meditech and paragon solutions is preferred
