-Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to develop and configure software applications and tools to solve complex problems
-Demonstrated experience in Mainframe Development
-Demonstrated experience with COBOL, CICS, EasyTrieve, JCL, TSO/ISPF, DB2, SQL, and Z/OS and MVS
-Demonstrated experience in Project Management
-Ability to make determinations based on facts, identify problems, report potential problems, and assess options proactively
-Ability to understand customer needs, including the level of urgency, and translate them into appropriate automated solutions
-Ability to ensure implementation of policies and procedures.
-Knowledge of SDLC methodologies, and the tools and techniques used in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle
-Knowledge of best practices for secure applications development
-Ability to communicate technical terms and concepts to non-technical staff and clients.
-Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and in a timely manner.
