Sr. Data Scientist
Our client, a telecommunications company located in Maryland Heights, MO is inneed of a Data Scientist for an initial 9-month contract with high likelihoodof extension. The Sr. Data Scientist will work onsite daily, and will beresponsible for mining complex data and providing documentation of theirfindings as well as recommendations for improvement based on their findings.This Data Scientist should have advanced knowledge of different data miningtechniques such as clustering, regression analysis, decision trees and supportvector machines. 

Required skills:

8 years experience working as a Data Scientist

Demonstratable experience and expertise creating data models and algorithms

Advanced knowledge of either Python, SAS, R, or some combination thereof, including experience using it in advanced analytics  

Strong Experience using SQL to pull and manipulate data from large data sets

Ability to communicate well with others and explain data models and other analytic strategies to more junior members of the team   

Preferred Skills:

Hadoop or Snowflake 

Experience working in an AWS environment
