Work directly with the client gathering requirements to align technology with business strategy and goals. Expert knowledge of energy trading and risk management processes across front, middle, and back- office functionalities with an emphasis on North America Power trading. Emphasis on identifying Scheduling enhancement workflow and ISO data gaps in existing system and coming up with a detailed workflow acceptable to business and feasible with the backend. Help in designing data staging from different markets into a repository consumable by Straight Through Processing (STP)

Essential experience and requirements

•             5-10 years, direct functional and technical experience

•             5-10 years of experience with Oracle queries (of high complexity)

•             Strong functional understanding of North America power trading

•             Knowledge of deal lifecycle, ETRM systems including but not limited to position reporting, deal modelling, risk valuation, invoicing, settlements

•             Should have experience in managing an end-to-end delivery of bid to bill management and trade capture system (preferably any ETRM system)

•             Should have experience in system integration best practices specifically for power operations (Scheduling /Bidding/Auction/Rewards/ ISO integration). Knowledge of corresponding domain information tying back to database attributes required

•             Strong knowledge of nMarket or similar product is required. Knowledge of different markets and variations required.

•             Strong understanding of invoicing/contract/statement data, Settlements process, Invoice generation, transaction types

•             Strong understanding of ISO published statement date

•             Strong understanding of the STP (Straight Through Processing)

•             Adept in handling business changes and managing stakeholder expectations

•             Provide comprehensive documentation for requirements, functional design, workflows, support project tracking

•             Effective management of tasks, timelines, progress reporting on tasks 

•             Perform requirement gathering, functional analysis and functional design

•             Thorough understanding of Agile and waterfall delivery methodology

•             Knowledge and experience with using Azure DevOps (ADO) in full software lifecycle

•             Manage communication across multiple teams, third party vendor, and multiple consulting staff

•             Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies

Desired qualifications

•             Working experience and knowledge of Git, AWS
