Has experience in conducting analysis with expertise in Finance/Trading Specific business areas, application wide analysis and proposal of solutions. Assembles, analyzes, and represents customer business requirements.
Performs feasibility analysis, scopes project, recommends alternative solutions, project strategy, and deliverable prioritization.
Communicate status (written and verbal) to relevant stake holders as required.
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and at least six, typically eight or more years related experience as a project team
Securities Services / Asset Servicing / Capital Markets and experience in business process change, system change.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are required
Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
Technical skills focusing on SQL queries, XML, FIX and SWIFT message parsing, Agile, JIRA
Serve as the primary liaison between the business, its technology vendors, and the development team
Evaluate opportunities to implement technological enhancements to improve the efficiency of the business
Develop recommendations for vended versus in-house developed solutions
Provide guidance on technological solutions for new product offerings
Interface with technology development teams both onshore and offshore to design solutions to meet the needs of the business
Advocate for business support as new technological solutions are being developed
Troubleshoot support issues with vendors and the in-house support team as needed
Complete the necessary risk management oversight of all vended applications
