- Implementing & integrating the code and configurations into an existing codebase.
- Developing continuous integration/continuous delivery (“CI/CD”) software and deployments of large-scale distributed software systems to Kubernetes
- Integration of application images, databases, load balancer, Identity and Access management (“IAM) solution, Vault etc with the cloud solution available on the platform
- Develop Helm Charts deployment scripts, support/debug deployment pipeline issues.
- Testing and verifying that implementation meets requirements.
- Deployments and configuration of pods
- Present status/design/issues to the team or wider audience
- Providing weekly updates on the status of work.
Skillset and Capabilities
- Experience in Networking (TCP/IP) and familiarity with communication systems technologies such as Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (“DHCP”), Authentication, Authorization and Accounting module/Service (“AAA”) and Domain Name System (“DNS”)
- Expertise and solid knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Elastic Container Services (ECS), Elastic Kubernetes Services (EKS) and other cloud deployment technologies
- Experience in a DevOps environment demonstrating the ability to automate infrastructure and software delivery.
- Experience with Security fundamentals; Network and Role Based Access control, and data protection implementations.
- Experience writing Helm Charts
- Solid experience in developing continuous integration/continuous delivery (“CI/CD”) pipelines using GitHub Actions, Terraform, Argo CD and Python
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana etc.
- Experience developing in-depth, automated test cases for network protocols.
- Hands-on experience in C, C++ demonstrating the ability to build and deploy scalable solutions.
- Knowledge scripting using bash.
- Experience with working with data systems such as Kafka, Kibana, Splunk etc. for generating metrics or for monitoring applications (Preferred)
- Experience with telecom/networking/satellite/wireless communications (Preferred)
