Senior Java Developer + GlobalOne Application Exp. is a MUST

Hybrid Model NYC-Manhattan Candidate must be able to commute to Manhattan/NYC 3 days per week.

This professional will support the development of “GlobalOne” application. GlobalOne is an existing solution used to track stock borrowed/lent and associated fees/rebates in several worldwide locations – London/Zurich/US/Canada/Tokyo/Sydney/Johannesburg for example.  Since April due to the adoption of Agile, the team has been mixed up to include developers of different skill-sets and adopted new systems for all open trades (Jaws: an EOL)

Responsibilities: Support the GlobalOne application (FIS Securities Finance Processor) and Java application development.

ü Technical and General Skillset Required:

-          8-10 years of experience;

-          Leadership experience;

-          Java 1.8 senior knowledge;

-          ‘GlobalOne application (FIS Securities Finance Processor);

-          Perl 5.16 experience;

-          Autosys 13.1 Job scheduling tool strong experience;

-          RedHat Linux (7) ;

-          IBM MQ;

-          Tibco EMS

-          Kafka;

-          Azure Databricks/Data Lake;

-          Gitlab;

Interview Guideline 

Over the last few days we have experienced a high number of candidates that gave several signs to be faking their voices/answers during the interviews.

 Apparently we will need to be extra careful. Please make sure to keep doing the usual face to face chats with all the candidates and that any possible fakers are eliminated prior to submission.

 From now on please consider the following set of rules for all candidates, all roles and clients:

 The candidate must use headsets or similar during the calls;

We may request candidates to remove fake backgrounds at any moment during the interview - anyone who refuses to do so will not be considered to next steps;

We may decline immediately in case the candidate suggests to join from a second device simultaneously – all candidates must go through the interview from one single device;
