The Mid-level Software Developer will support Java development and extract, transform and load of data from the Microsoft Dynamics system, used for COVID test scheduling at the state-run and state funded community care COVID test sites. These processes will allow for integration of the Dynamics data seamlessly into other systems, including supporting reporting needs as well as creation of the Infectious Disease Requisition forms and electronic submission to the reference laboratory for processing of COVID-19 tests.
Duties
- Design and code from requirements and functional specifications.
- Analyze, evaluate, test, debug, document, and implement code to extract, transform and load data
- Develop, monitor, and troubleshoot batch processing for data flows
- Develop and consume web services
- Produce technical and user documentation as requested.
- Any other tasks necessary for completion of project deliverables and application support.
- Implement security models
- Communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical personnel.
- Communicate with programmatic units to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

- 48 months experience with Java/J2EE and frameworks like SpringBoot
- 48 months of experience developing and consuming REST, SOAP services with security (OAuth/SSL)
- 36 months experience with modern Javascript frameworks like Angular
- 48 months experience with relational databases
- 36 months experience with cloud based data platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- 36 months experience with ETL and batch processing frameworks/platforms
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or other related field
