JOB DETAIL

 

The client implemented Workday HCM, FIN and SCM modules in January 2020. The Workday Analyst will work closely with business partners, developers and cross functional teams to identify gaps and enhancement opportunities to mature the Workday implementation and related business systems comprising the ERP and Enterprise systems portfolio. The Workday analyst develops requirements to support application configuration, system interfaces, as well as incident resolution and tenant management. A preferred candidate will have experience implementing and managing Workday ERP with functional expertise and experience in application support in Human Resources and Payroll. The analyst position works with a team of analysts to provide tier two support for their customer areas and may perform advanced system configuration changes and maintenance to support the lifecycle of the application. The analyst recommends, develops and implements effective/strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes. The ERP and Enterprise applications team supports a broad base of customer areas and the role engages on projects and operational demands.

 

Job Responsibilities:

1.    Workday implementation and/ or application management experience

2.    Functional expertise in Human Resources and/or Payroll (Preferred candidate will have experience in both functional areas). Experience with HCM, Recruiting and Learning implementations is a big plus

3.    Knowledge of Supply Chain, including system integration experience with Coupa or similar system a plus.

4.    Knowledge of Finance, including system integration with Strata, OnBase or similar system a plus.

5.    Knowledge and hands-on with EIBs, Report writer, Calculated Fields, Integrations, Security and Migrations is a plus

6.    Knowledge of operational excellence and adherence to SLAs and metrics for incidents and requests.

7.    Responsible for researching, planning, coordinating and delivering solutions to support ERP customers.

8.    Experience in agile methodologies preferred.

9.    Responsible for researching, planning, coordinating and delivering solutions to support ERP platform.

10.    Partner with business stakeholders and project team to understand requirements and provide best practices recommendations.

11.    Leads vendor selection efforts (RFP) including requirements gathering scoring and vendor selection

12.    Develops, validates and executes comprehensive test plans.

13.    Familiarity with ITSM tools and change management procedures (e.g. ServiceNow)

14.    High level understanding of database structures, with ability to execute basic data queries and create reports.

15.    Identifies, analyzes and resolves data and complex workflow solutions and issues.

16.    Demonstrates ability to diagnose and resolve technical, management, and business issues and recommend areas for process improvement or innovation.

17.    Performs routine operational support, maintenance and system configuration as defined in departmental operating procedures.

18.    Adept at working on multiple concurrent projects with minimal supervision, capable of educating, coaching, and overseeing the activities of less experienced staff and other team members.

19.    Attends specific client-based meetings and directs the communication of client needs to the appropriate support/service groups.

20.    Actively participates with clients, internal and external, to elicit, analyze and document business and functional requirements through requirements workshops, interviews or meeting sessions with Project Sponsors, SMEs and other Stakeholders to diagnose and resolve complex technical, management, and business issues. Identify and document business and technical requirements.

21.    Monitors effectiveness of current business practices and identifies areas for improvement/innovation.

22.    Performs 24/7 on call support as needed

23.    Exhibits strong facilitation and communication skills and interacts with hospital medical, technical and business personnel.

24.    May be required to travel to/from and work in the various CHOP locations, including patient care areas.

25.    May be required to travel for mandatory certifications.

Required Education: Bachelors of/in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other Health Care related field

Required Experience: Relevant experience (2-5 years) within a healthcare environment. Relevant Information Systems analyst experience (3-5 years)
