- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration,
or other related field or equivalent work experience;
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification;
- A minimum of seven (7) years of IT work experience, including a minimum of four (4)
years of project management experience, or working with a Project Management
Office;
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience managing projects in accordance with the
PMI’s standards as presented in A Guide to the Project Management Body of
- Knowledge (PMBOK Guide);
- A minimum of three (3) years of IT strategy and planning experience;
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience managing application development
projects;
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with technical and user staff;
- Experience using the Scrum framework to manage at least one (1) project;
- Experience facilitating requirements gathering and Joint Application Design (JAD)
sessions;
- Experience managing documentation in Microsoft (MS) SharePoint;
- Experience with the Information Systems Development Methodologies (ISDM); and
- Experience with state government projects.
