JOB DETAIL

Must Haves:

  • 8+ years of Oracle experience
  • Proficient & hands on experience with PL/SQL
  • In-depth query tuning and optimization of execution plan
  • Familiarity with Oracle 19c new features of SQL Tuning and SQL Development features
  • Ability to analyze execution plans, evaluate query/user statics and provide recommendations & implement it
  • Familiar with Oracle database objects and capabilities example scheduler

 

Plusses:

  • Knowledge of Oracle RAC
  • Knowledge of Golden Gate

 

 Day to day:

  • Simplify the query by breaking into smaller steps
  • Optimize query like aligning joins or order by clause
  • Review Oracle query plans
  • Find difference query fast earlier vs. slow now
  • Review Oracle Query Optimizer
