Ameritas is seeking to become a more insight-driven organization. One of their major initiatives is called AFM (Ameritas Finance Modernization) project.

Role takes business requirements and creates data requirements documents. This can include “reverse engineering” Excel spreadsheets or reports currently used by the business. Experience in a life insurance Finance and/or Actuarial environment would be extremely preferred.

Products and applications will be developed, tested, and evaluated on a revolving four-month schedule. These sprints allow Ameritas to quickly decide on how things are going with new products, stopping production if necessary.

They need some Data Analysts who can:
1) understand the environment and help with source-to-target mapping
2) ensure that the data is accurate and clean, and
3) speak to both IT and business stakeholders to understand their current-state data environment.

They will be responsible for creating DRD’s (Data Requirement Documents) and meet with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements. Experience with data usage, data quality and data privacy will be beneficial.
