Role Description:
TheHealthcare IT project manager will lead and manage work performed by IT, clinical, and internalstakeholders. They will lead discovery meetings, document workflows, gather projectrequirements, create charters, develop detailed project plans, and lead allimplementation processes including status tracking, change control, issueresolution and project communication.
Duties include:
? Align with the Value Realization Office(VRO) to maintain projects using established best practices and standards.
? Collaboration with stakeholders todevelop project materials (project plan, charter, schedules, requirements,testing plans and final specifications) as needed.
? Provide updates to management andstakeholders of progress through frequent communication that aligns with theproject communication plan and ongoing demands.
? Exercise strategic thinking inprioritizing workload, as well as escalation to leadership.
? Creates partnerships amongst allrelevant UCDH departments, teams, vendors, and resources to ensure technologyis fully and accurately designed, costed, and deployed.
? Supports development and implementationof customized organizational change management (OCM) strategy.
? Conducts change management readiness andstakeholder assessments to understand the current organizational landscape,potential challenges, and change key drivers.
? Partners with Information Technologyinfrastructure, security, and other technical leaders to identify and documentsystem requirements.
? Leads stakeholder interviews tounderstand and document workflow and technology requirements.
? Conducts and participates in technologyvendor interviews to coordinate/complete bids or RFPs as relevant for systembudgeting and implementation planning.
? Other project management duties asassigned.
? May perform business analysis as needed.
? Provides direction, sets priorities, andanalyzes workflow for clinical applications staff, according to establishedpolicies and management guidance.
Required Qualifications:
? Minimum of 7 years IT project managementexperience
? Experience leading multiple, complexprojects in a matrixed organization or large PMO
? Experience with IT system interfaces and rollouts
? Experiencewith integrated multi-vendor applications
? Ability to clearly communicate at alllevels within an organization
? Demonstrated ability to deliverwell-organized and engaging presentations
? Demonstrated ability to function in ahighly dynamic, fast-paced, and continually changing environment
? Experienced in facilitatingmulti-disciplined workgroups to develop solutions to problems and/or consensus
? Proficient in Microsoft suite ofapplications including Visio, Teams and SharePoint
Strongly Preferred Qualifications
? Experience with ServiceNow implementation, ITBM
? Experiencedin organizational change management
? Six Sigma and/or project managementinstitute certification
? Experienceworking in a large health care system and familiar with clinical andoperational applications
? Experience working in a PMO
