7+ years of SQL Server DBA experience, 9+ IT experience
• Experience with Implementation, Installation, Database Administration, Performance Tuning, Troubleshooting, Backup & Recovery and Testing SQL Server versions thru 2019
• Experience administrating databases in Azure and AWS
• Experience migrating databases from old to new versions, On Prem to Cloud, Cloud to On Prem, and Cloud to Cloud
• Experience with SQL Server features Always On Cluster, SSIS Packages, and SSRS Reports
• Experience scripting in Windows PowerShell
• Knowledge of the systems development life cycle
• Excellent communication, analytical and consultative skills with management, clients, and peers
• High quality decision making skills with less than perfect information
• Experience writing technical instructions
• Ability to periodically work nights and weekends
• Previous experience with Data Center Migrations a plus
• Experience in Health Care / Regulated Environment a plus Redshift
• Experience using Massively Parallel Processing (MPP)
