Job Description
Business Collaboration:
Looking for person with good communication and presentation skills who can liaison with Business and IT teams effectively. This includes understanding of business initiatives and their priorities, task delivery timelines, dependencies and business impacts. Experience with Insurance Industry is highly preferred.

Agile and User Story:
The Data Analyst should have 10+ years of experience.

at least 3-5 years of experience working with Agile Methodology, creating Epics and writing User Stories.
The Data Analyst will be part of the Agile team and work closely with Product Owner, Scrum Master and Technical Leads during Sprint Planning, User Story Prioritization and Backlog Refinements.


Technical Documentation and Data Analysis:
At least 3-5 years of experience in writing Business Requirement Document (BRD)
The Data Analyst shall collaborate with Data Team Leads and would be responsible for creating Source to Target Data Mapping Documents, Data Dictionary, Conceptual Data Flow Diagrams, Data Models and Data Lineage. Knowledge of Visio and ER Studio is plus. Understanding of Reference and Master Data is preferable.
Maintain documentation best standards and version control in Sharepoint.
As part of Data Analysis, be skilled in using Excel Pivots, Lookups and Macros, XML Parsing and SOAP
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in writing SQL queries. Analyze the data for Data Quality, Data Patterns and communicate data gaps to the team in a documented approach.
Skills in BI tools like Cognos, Qlik, Tableau, PowerBI for Data Analysis and Reporting is a strong plus
