• Experience developing/architecting containerized cloud-based solutions with a good understanding of AWS services like EC2, RDS, S3, KMS,AWSCLI,Networking,AWS Security and IAM.
• Good background in Linux/Unix administration.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Having used ECS or EKS
• Experience deploying container applications usingDevOpstools(GitOps,Helm, and Kustomize) Good to have development experience with Custom Resource Definitions.
• Past experience with serverless approaches using AWS Lambda is aplus. For example, the Serverless Application Model (AWS SAM).
• Good understanding of serverless or vendor-managed Container orchestration platforms like Far gate and ECS.
• Strong notions of security best practices (e.g. using IAM Roles, KMS, etc.).
• Experience with monitoring solutions such as CloudWatch, Prometheus ,and the ELK stack.• Knowledge of writing infrastructure as code (IaC) Using Cloud Formation or Terraform.• In-depth experience with Kubernetes – scheduling ,resource management ,networking, communication, security, config-maps ,ingress controllers, etc.
• Hands-on with native Kubernetes commands and configuration - ex: kubectl, YAML descriptors for various resource types.
• Practical experience troubleshooting a Kubernetes environment and deploying code.• Practical experience building and packaging components/servicesforK8Sdeploymentas part of a CI/CD pipeline.
• Experience with building or maintaining cloud-native applications.
• Plus to have implementation knowledge of Service Mesh or similar offerings.
• Previous exposure to large-scale systems design.
• Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems
