The Senior Software Engineer takes ownership of stories and drives them to completion through all phases of the entire 84.51° SDLC.  This includes external facing and internal applications, as well as process improvement activities. 

•             Perform development in Java, Angular, and Spring Boot based Build reusable code and libraries

•             Experience with Angular Framework, JavaScript, and CSS

•             Perform unit and integration testing

•             Object-oriented and service-oriented design concepts, including knowledge of data transfer objects and associated design patterns

•             Utilize specialized knowledge of web application development to enhance functionality, supportability, scalability and/or extensibility of customer solutions

•             Strong Java/ J2EE with hands on Angular.js experience with Spring frame works and Web-services

•             Participate in retrospective reviews

•             Participate in the estimation process for new work and releases

•             Bring new perspectives to problems

•             Be driven to improve yourself and the way things are done

  

Minimum Skills required:

 

•             Java

•             Spring Boot

•             Relational and non-relational databases

•             RESTful APIs

•             Angular 6+

•             Cloud Development (Azure)

•             Cross-browser compatibility issues and how to handle them

•             Deploys and configures services using infrastructure as a service from providers (e.g., Microsoft Azure).

•             Reverse proxies

  

Position Specific Skill Preferences/Desires:

 

•             3+ years or proficient in advanced JavaScript library/framework such as Angular

•             4+years or proficient in Java SpringBoot

•             Proficient in HTML5, CSS3

•             Proficient in async request handling.

•             Proficient in Object Oriented Principles

•             Exposure to server-side CSS pre-processing platform (SASS or LESS)

•             Experience with VCS (Git, SVN)

•             Understanding of CI/CD
