Skills (ADVANCED/EXPERT):

Extensive knowledge of SQL Server and SQL server tools

Deep experience in database performance and health monitoring and maintenance using built in tools and/ or third party tools.

Demonstrable experience in SQL Server design, topology,  capacity planning and high availability

Experience with SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS

Responsibilities:

Must have

1.    Extensive knowledge of SQL Server and SQL server tools

2.    Deep experience in database performance and health monitoring and maintenance using built in tools and/ or third party tools.

3.    Demonstrable experience in SQL Server design, topology,  capacity planning and high availability

4.    In-depth understanding of database setup, security, and backup/ recovery

5.    Familiarity with relational database design and development

6.    Working experience in SQL server tuning and performance optimization by recommending and implementing changes in infrastructure design, database and table design, query/ sp  tuning, etc. 

7.    Experience with SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS

Nice to have:

1.    Knowledge of PowerShell

2.    Experience with PostgresSQL, DynamoDB

3.    Experience in Kafka CDC
