JOB DESCRIPTION:

*PLEASE ONLY SEND CANDIDATES IN THE NY/NJ AREA. THIS POSITION IS TEACHING
BUSINESS GROUPS HOW TO BETTER UTILIZE THEIR TECHNOLOGY.

This role will be a critical component to this change management program, engaging users and teams to drive
the technological changes needed to improve business processes. This person will manage cross-functional
projects to define and implement operational process and technology solutions across the entire organization.
Our goal is to accelerate technical fluency, increase efficiency and collaboration across business units.

We are looking for an energetic person that is a former consultant or former hands-on professional with operations
or technology experience. We are a progressive, global technology organization laser focused on enhancing its user
community's impact through technology.

This role will report to the Head of North American IT Support and the Digital Fluency Committee. This is a
hybrid role (3 days onsite + 2 remote). Scheduled user sessions could result in more frequent days on-site
in the Midtown NY office. The expected duration for this contract role is 4 months (120 days), with potential for
extension.

The role is unique in that you will be meeting with front and middle office groups to build a unique roadmap
leveraging the technologies we have in place. This will be a hands-on role that will require you to learn the
workflows of each group and how to combine that with the tools that can benefit them.

IT Infrastructure & Support works with all business stakeholders in our lines of business (Credit, Private Equity,
Real Estate, etc.) and across our corporate functions (Human Resources, Legal, Compliance, Accounting,
Operations, Capital Formation, Tax, and Technology). We seek a candidate who not only can analyze business
processes and technology, but can also lead discussions, listen to what is said and unsaid, provide guidance to
people on how to adopt new technologies in their daily work life, and execute hands-on operational work using
their industry knowledge and problem-solving capabilities.

Primary Functions & Responsibilities

• Help create a culture of concierge technology support, combining product knowledge and business knowledge to solve two things: problems the business wants to improve and processes the business may not realize can be improved.

• Conduct analytical technology support within our Credit, Private Equity, Real Estate and other front office organizations across a portfolio of projects including collaboration platforms (Microsoft Teams), migration and cloud file sharing (SharePoint) and mobile application fluency.

• Work with front office and middle office professionals to become a functional subject matter expert capable of producing business and functional requirements for process or systems improvements.

• Work with IT Engineering, Information Security and Support teams to create repeatable processes for global end user support teams to follow as they educate and maintain technical fluency across the organization.

• Act as the central point of contact for all Digital Fluency priorities.

• Learn the digital tooling available at and provide improvement opportunities.

• Identify digital fluency opportunities and implement digital fluency tooling for users globally.

• Educate users on specific use cases of how technology can improve their processes and business; also assist with the migration to the new processes.

• Provide execution roadmaps, plans, timelines, and continuous status reporting to the Digital Fluency Committee.

• Drive organizational change and key stakeholder engagement and be an advocate for technology to improve business processes.

• Be accountable for milestones, progress, and overall success of the project.

• Be a collaborative and technically proficient communicator with the ability to navigate both business and technical conversations.

• Provide internal consulting services through project leadership, insights on industry leading practices, and optimization of implemented solutions.

• Identify best practices for operational processes and system optimizations.

• Ability and willingness to be hands-on in all aspects of solution management.

• Ability to train others.

• Affinity for establishing metrics and ongoing surveillance measurement to demonstrate the impact of completed projects, not just when projects are complete.

• Assist in preparing and delivering presentations for product kick-offs, status updates, and KPI tracking.

• Tracking open items across multiple disciplines (app dev, desktop engineering, network, mobile, IT support).

Qualifications This position will require flexibility and rapid learning to become an expert in multiple functional areas. The ideal candidate should have demonstrated an ability to perform operational and technology-focused business analysis and support. Successful collaboration with peer groups in Technology and external vendors will be crucial. Knowledge of alternative investment asset classes is preferred. Given the broad nature of projects in our queue, knowledge of the Microsoft end-user computing platform and enterprise-wide change management will allow the candidate to make an immediate impact. Education An undergraduate degree is strongly preferred. Undergraduate study in finance, accounting, operations research, computer science, information science, or engineering is desirable. Experience Required

• Dependable, great attitude, highly motivated and a team player

• Experience developing technology adoption programs, knowledge of change management principles and project management methodologies

• Able to see the broader picture of the whole firm and process life cycles but can also dive into the details, as necessary

• An analytical mind and a passion/interest in solving end-user problems and increasing their day-to-day efficiency

• A track record of hands-on implementing or improving systems and process efficiencies

• Direct experience driving the adoption of Microsoft O365, especially Teams, Sharepoint, Box or similar enterprise platforms in any industry vertical

• Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and Power Automate

• Good judgment in terms of escalating issues vs. solving problems independently

• Ability to draft deliverables, including: • training materials

• process checklists and diagrams

• business requirements

• status updates

• 3-5 years in Investment Management or Financial Services industries

• Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint expertise

• Strong written and spoken communication skills

• Collaborative, team-oriented approach

• Analytical mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, and self-motivated working attitude
