Represent customers by understanding their needs and product requirements
Foster collaboration with Business product managers, engineers, quality assurance to explore, prioritize, and launch solutions
Work with the development team to ensure that product requirements are understood and built accordingly
Explore competitors’ products and come up with new ways to improve the company’s products. Utilize customer & industry data to model the impact of key initiatives & the technological opportunities & risks to the organization
Translate product’s strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development
Outline the product vision, product strategy, and product roadmap
Support engineering team to ensure customer satisfaction goals are met
Interact with Project Management Office to develop project plans to achieve key business objectives.
Ensure that user story content and prioritization is aligned to the larger strategic objective
Use a software development methodology, like Agile to optimize processes
Recommend the scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and appraising adjustments
Attend all agile ceremonies and schedule additional sessions as required to ensure User Stories are documented properly and in a timely manner
Come prepared with detailed user stories and drive/lead all backlog grooming sessions to ensure entire team (PO, Dev, QA) understands the given solution
Be available for any questions related to the requirements and solution at any time pre/post implementation
Have access/entitlements to the impacted systems and be familiar with them
Qualifications:
Bachelor education level in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
Candidates should have 3-5 years of Technical Business Analysis or product management experience
3-5 years of experience developing products or experience of product management
1-3 years of business transformation experience
JIRA experience
2-4 years of financial industry experience
For intermediate-level and senior-level positions:
5-15 years of experience in product management
Agile certification
Experience scaling technical infrastructure to meet the demands of global customers
Preferred
Strong problem-solving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignments
Experience in building scalable and highly available distributed system
Evangelizes how our technology solves customer problems from a technology and business perspective
Familiarity with SOA based architecture and API - 2+ Years of experience
Experience working on Trading Platforms - 1 + Years of experience
Experience working with JIRA and Confluence - 2 + years of experience
Financial Services or FinTech experience is a plus
Proven ability to define and execute risk management strategies and models
Prior work experience within the financial services/brokerage industry
Knowledge of metrics, key risk indicators and dashboard
