?        Study and understand the existing business,systems, data, and technology landscape at Austin Energy
?        Leverage the Sparx EA platform to both retrieveand store architectural information
?        Develop all new and modifying any existingarchitectural models in the Sparx EA platform
?        Work closely with business relationship managersto understand the business needs of the various divisions of Austin Energy
?        Assess incoming technology Demands in ServiceNowto develop high-level solution architectures that meet business needs
?        Conduct market research to understand the cost ofimplementation for the derived high-level solution architecture
?        Gather input from business and technicalstakeholders in the development of proposed high-level solution architectures
?        Present developed high-level architectures toproject teams at project kick-off to provide context for the project’s work
?        Contribute to the development of project chartersand requirements documents
?        Contribute to, review, and approve detailedtechnical design documents on projects
?        Contribute to the development and evaluation ofrequests for proposal (RFPs)
?        Develop detailed financial net present value (NPV)analyses of various solution options
?        Contribute to as-built technical diagrams


WORKER SKILLS ANDQUALIFICATIONS (Required)

Minimum Requirement for Position 1: (Must Have)

5 Years Required Experience developing Service Oriented architectures
5 years Required Experience in developing enterprise architecture across theentire EA stack – business architecture, data and systems architecture, andtechnical architecture
5 years Required Experience developing Enterprise architectures to meetbusiness needs
3 years Required Experience developing financial models of proposed solutions
3 Years Required Experience Working/configuring/managing the SPARX EnterpriseArchitect Application
3 Years Required Experience SQL with any database.
Current Certification TOGAF 1 & 2.

Minimum Requirement forPosition 2 (Security/networking) : (Must Have)  

3 Years Required Experience developing Network architectures and implementingNetwork Solutions
2 Years Required Direct Experience working with Microsoft Azure
5 years Required Experience in developing enterprise architecture across theentire EA stack – business architecture, data and systems architecture, andtechnical architecture
5 years Required Experience developing Enterprise architectures to meetbusiness needs
3 years Required Experience developing financial models of proposed solutions
3 Years Required Working/configuring/managing the SPARX Enterprise ArchitectApplication
Current Certification TOGAF 1 & 2.

2 years Preferred Knowledge of electric utility operations across generation,transmission and distribution, and retail/customer service segments
