- Perform major PeopleSoft upgrades
- Perform tools upgrades
- Work in multiple versions of PeopleSoft and PeopleTools
- Work across multiple modules
- Perform upgrades on multiple clients simultaneously including PeopleSoft environment installations
- Provide expert troubleshooting for isolating technical/function problems
- Download and install PeopleSoft Update Manager Images, bundles, and fixes
- Debug and code SQRs, PeopleCode, Application Engine, nVision, and Queries
- Create, maintain, and manage project plans
- Work to resolve issues that impact the progress of the upgrade project
- Work on all phases of a project: development, testing, go-live, production support, etc.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize
- Ability to handle multiple projects with tight & varying deadlines
- Develop, design, and maintain process and procedure documentation consistent with Sierra-Cedar standards
- Evaluate new technologies and perform special projects as assigned
- Maintain positive relationships with all clients
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Minimum of 5 years PeopleSoft experience
- Must have experience in multiple modules - Human Resources, Campus Solutions, Financials, Supply Chain, Customer Relationship, Enterprise Learning or Portal
- Must have successfully completed multiple major upgrades to PeopleSoft 9.2
- Experience performing major upgrades to PeopleSoft version 9.2 on PeopleTools 8.56 and PeopleTools 8.57 is preferred
- Experience applying PeopleSoft Images, bundles, and fixes to environments
- Hands-on working knowledge of PeopleSoft Change Assistant, Application Designer, Data Mover, Integration Broker, and Application Engine
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience tuning SQL
- Complete understanding of PeopleSoft architecture including PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA), tuxedo application servers, process schedulers and databases
- Proven ability to complete solo installations for PeopleSoft 9.x on all tiers
- Ability to perform a PeopleSoft architecture preview for clients and document findings
- Complete understanding of Patch and Fix application update process
- Exposure to Elastic Search and Data Migration Workbench
- SQL Server or Oracle Database certification is a plus
- Ability to provide regular reports both verbal and statistical showing status of ongoing projects
