Project Scope:

Santa Clara County is seeking a PeopleSoft HR/Payroll Consultant to be the subject matter expert to the HARP (Human Resource Payroll Team) in a PUM (PeopleSoft Update Manager) upgrade project from version 23. The work will focus on:

2.      Converting custom classic pages to Fluid,

3.      Using drop zones on customized vanilla pages in PeopleSoft to de-customize

4.      Help troubleshoot custom COBOL programs and stored procedures.

Mandatory Skills:     

1.      Must have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in working with multiple versions of PeopleSoft and People Tools across HCM modules.

2.      Working experience and understanding of PeopleSoft HCM applications (v 9.2 PUM 39 with fluid and Drop Zone technologies) and PeopleSoft Tools (v8.59) 

3.      Must have five (5) years of experience implementing, designing and customizing PeopleSoft HCM

4.      Must have five (5) years of programming experience using People Tools, PeopleCode, Application Package, and Application engine, Drop Zones, Event Mapping, Workflow, Integration Broker and SQR.

5.      Must have experience in customizing COBOL stored procedures. 

6.      Must have experience in PeopleSoft COBOL programs and how to customize them.

7.      Must have three (3) years of experience in creating/modifying data conversion scripts.

8.      Must be proficient with SQL and PS/Query for reviewing data, troubleshooting and testing/validating source system data

9.      Must have prior experience developing complex interfaces into legacy and 3rd party systems.

10.   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (i.e. analysis, re-creation and documenting the impact on the system overall)

Preferred Skills:

1.      Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related.

2.      Certified in Oracle

3.      Working with an enterprise wide, large scale PeopleSoft implementation

4.      Experience working within a matrix environment.
