A Conversion Workstream Technical Business Analyst will assist the Conversion Workstream team in all conversion activities in a major upgrade of the Core Banking platform.. The Conversion Technical BA will focus on the following:

 

1. Perform analysis on large datasets to determine data quality.

 

2. Identify and describe the complex data quality issues and document for downstream review.

 

3. Good understanding of relational databases (Oracle)

 

4. Develop queries and comparison reports to identify data variances between old/new data tables.

 

 

 

Technical BA Skillset should include:

 

• Requirements gathering and analysis / break down of large requests into user stories and/or component parts Ø Extensive SQL experience required (7+ years) self-starter on data analysis and data comparision required. Ø Strong Excel; Pivot table; data analysis required

 

• System and system integration design based on requirements

 

• Agile or agile-variant software development methodologies

 

• Understanding of testing concepts through the software development lifecycle (unit, performance, regression) and capability to write test cases and test plans

 

• Proven strength in interpreting customer business needs and translating them into application and operational requirements.

 

• Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modelling/mapping, and data modelling.

 

• Strong experience with various software development methodologies such as Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, etc. • Strong experience building, writing and executing test cases (using technologies such as JIRA, Confluence, Selenium, Loadrunner, is a plus)

 

• Excellent communicator - Ability to communicate verbally and in technical writing to all levels of the organization in a proactive, contextually appropriate manner.

 

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

 

• Execute root cause analysis of systems and data issues.
