Designing and implementing solutions for continuous integration, continuous delivery and continuous deployment
Automating the deployment of software and infrastructure using tools such as Ansible, Terraform and Jenkins
Managing and mentoring junior DevOps engineers
Defining and maintaining IT service level agreements (SLAs)
Identifying and implementing process improvements
Managing projects and budgets
Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
Ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards
Representing the DevOps team in meetings and presentations with other departments and external stakeholders
Collaborating with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
Building and maintaining the infrastructure of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or equivalent
5+ years of experience in a data engineering, data operations or data analytics role
Strong knowledge of data warehousing and database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, etc
4 + years of experience with data pipeline and ETL tools such as Apache NiFi, Apache Kafka, Apache Airflow, etc
Experience with data storage technologies such as HDFS, S3, etc
Experience with data visualization and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc
Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and leadership skills
Familiarity with big data platforms such as Hadoop, Spark, and Hive
Experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Knowledge of container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes)
Experience working in an Agile development environment
Familiarity with security best practices
Familiarity with ITIL framework.
