The Sr. Engineer DevOps -This role is for the Sungard Availability Services NextGen Public Cloud team and will work closely with other engineering resources to deliver all aspects of the Managed Azure Cloud services. This role will work with the Azure solutions architect to ensure the design focuses on the customer s needs while implementing the solution.

This position will function as a customer-facing DevOps engineer that will engage with a variety of stakeholders in your customers organizations to drive business value while leveraging deep technical Azure platform expertise to support and deliver optimal solution. The Azure DevOps Engineer will have a mix of infrastructure and developer skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Work with Customers, Product Management, and the DevOps team where engagement will ensure that we drive modern managed services for our customers.

2. Deliver the customer experience for engineering and deployment, ensuring customer satisfaction and providing technical excellence for problem resolution.

3. Should have a work experience on Azure Cloud Platform for atleast 2+ years.

4. Work with Azure services and infrastructure deployments all the time ensuring you deliver scalable, resilient, and reliable systems hosted in Azure.

5. Work with automation tools such as Terraform, CI/CD and monitoring tools such as Datadog.

6. Author automation artifacts such as templates and scripts.

7. Deep understanding of Azure services.

8. Design customer environment solutions using Azure services.

9. Should have good knowledge on Networking, Storage, Compute (VMs, AKS), IAM, Azure Lighthouse, Backup, Migration, Monitoring services.

10. Strong Powershell scripting and preferred Python, Javascript experience.

11. Good knowledge on Azure LogicApp and other Azure native automation/orchestration services.

12. Work supportively with colleagues, always operating in a collegiate manner and in line with the Company s values.

13. Should be able to work on the customer requirements and implement the solutions for customer environments.

14.Directing the team in troubleshooting non-production and production related to solutions/issues.

15.Experience with troubleshooting networking and telemetry services.

Technical Competencies (Experience and Knowledge)

• Strong programming skills either or in PowerShell, Terraform, Javascript, Python etc.
• Strong experience in cloud-based architecture (Azure, AWS etc.)
• Working knowledge with AGILE development, SCRUM and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
• Strong understanding of Microservices architecture and design principles, Containerization, and Kubernetes
• Experience in working with RESTful API s
• Excellent knowledge of Azure Services related to Networking, Storage, Compute (VMs, AKS), IAM, Azure Lighthouse, Backup, Migration, Monitoring.
• Experience in managing infrastructure as code with Terraform and Azure Resource Manager
• Experience on Azure, AWS cloud technologies.
• Experience with one or more of the following programming languages: PowerShell, Bash, .NET, C++, Java, JSON, PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby on Rails, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Kerberos, LDAP, NTLM, TCP/IP, SSL, DNS, HTTP, Log Management
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins etc.
• Service provider experience highly desired
