JOB DETAIL

Will be managing different projects

First - Managing the Training

ERP (AMP) Administrative Modernization Project and integrating the old EBS system

Work with training team to create project plan and be the person to oversee that the training is moving forward.

Then will work on the integration of the ERP and old EBS system. 

Project planning and scheduling, creating reports.

This person should be a technical project manager who understands Oracle and integration of systems.

This person needs to be flexible, so a consultant who has worked leading different types of ERP with the training piece would be perfect.

Must be good at scheduling, project planning, creating reports, and using agile or scrum methodology

Will help drive the projects forward

Will be helping move projects forward

The person for this position must have the following skills as well as passing any background and reference checks required by BCPSS:

  • Management skills – including problem-solving, time, and resource management
  • Communication skills including the ability to talk with C-suite personnel
  • Strategic planning ability
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and targeted deadlines
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and MS Project.

The APM job responsibilities will vary as projects necessitate but will include:

§  Assist Project Manager with project planning as needed

§  Assist Project Manager with tracking of project execution against the project plans

§  Assist with system testing as needed

§  Synchronization of all project related reports from the start of the project(s)

§  Collection and management of project documentation

§  Ability to translate data metrics into actionable, meaningful intelligence

§  Coordination with departments on project deliverables and maintaining project timelines

§  Management of expectations

§  Tracking risks and benefits

§  Regular communication with the Project Manager on status updates for various projects

§  As needed, communication with Chiefs on project status updates

§  Recommendations for improvements to project efficiency

§  Sitting in on various project training sessions as needed and reporting on outcomes of session discussions.

§  Updating project tracking tickets as needed (JIRA, HelpDesk, etc.)

§  Acting as a point of contact between BCPSS Company and vendors

 Preferred Oracle ERP implementation exp.
