Proactively identify performance improvements in areas like responsiveness, availability, and scale, specifically around connected cloud solutions utilizing containerization, such as Kubernetes and/or Amazon EKS.
Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows

Design procedures for automating pipelines, code quality checks, developing and maintaining applications that use docker containers, pods creation and maintenance in Kubernetes
Qualifications
5 + years of production experience working as a Software Engineer or DevOps Engineer
Public cloud experience using AWS
Experience in CI/CD with technologies such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar
Experience with Linux and Bash scripting
Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes and monitoring tools such as Prometheus or equivalent
Experience with scripting and orchestration with Terraform
Knowledge of the demands and requirements at scale of high data volume IoT/Edge implementations utilizing Kubernetes
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Solutions-oriented with an ability to keep an open mind while finding agreeable solutions
Collaborative team spirit
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) is a plus
Experience with AWS CloudFormation and CDK are a plus
Experience with Terraform CDK (CDKTF) is a plus
Experience with a service mesh using Istio or equivalent is a plus
Experience with Helm, Docker Compose, or similar
Ability to see the larger business factors in manufacturing and IoT connected solutions regarding a Cloud Platform and solutions is a plus
Preferred education: BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, and/or equivalent work experience.
