This employee provides application development/integration services to the Department of Technology, Management and Budget and the Michigan Department of Civil Rights.  They will be responsible for the design, maintenance, development, and enhancement of the agency applications.  Project assignments and activity will be executed within the framework of the State of Michigan System Engineering Methodology (SEM). These assignments will provide for the development, testing and deployment of application releases, updates and modifications within a client/server and web server environment. 

This position is responsible for providing technical support for COTS (Custom Off the Shelf) packages implemented for the Management Division of the department. This role performs system analyst assignments, including but not limited to, gathering requirements, planning, analyzing, designing, testing, implementing, documenting and maintenance of complex client server and web-based applications using Azure Dev/OPS. 

This employee may maintain and support applications that are using the following: 

MS Dynamics (365), Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Management Studio, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications, Visual Basic Scripting, C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL, Java, Java Scripting, XML, HTML, Web Services, AJAX, and jQuery
