1X - IoT Developer:(Level of experience: mid-level experienced software engineer) Responsibilities: - Work on state-of-the-art IoT Edge Computing Platform for Retail - Participate in and contribute to architecture design meetings - Participate in and contribute to Agile development process, including planning and daily stand ups. - Work with other technical and non-technical team members to turn high level requirements into low-level designs. - Research new technologies and develop solutions for integrating them into the platform. - Help define an overall device adapter architecture that spans multiple products and deployments. Requirements: - Expertise in IoT device software design and development - Experience in one or all of BLE, ZigBee, Z-Wave, LoRa, Thread, Matter, WiFi, RFID protocols and software stacks. - Experience interfacing directly with devices such as cameras, via protocols such as RTSP protocol. - Experience programming in one or more languages and platforms including Python, Java, C, C++, iOS and Android - Preferred knowledge of embedded development on constrained platforms and SoCs such as RaspberryPI, Beaglebone, EFR32 - Extra points if coming from industrial, building or other IoT industries
