JOB DETAIL

  • Knowledge of business operations across underwriting, Policy admin/claims/Billing for Insurance and agile based implementations
  • Guidewire Certification, P&C Insurance and Business Analysis
  • Business analysis skills to document and close requirements/use cases//business requirements documents/functional specification documents/ product back logs
  • Knowledge and awareness of various technologies utilized in insurance domain
  • Agile methodology, deliverables as relevant for requirements gathering/business analysis/functional analysis.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good presentation skills

Certification:

  • Guidewire Certification, P&C Insurance and Business Analysis

Key requisites:

  • Proven experience in business analysis including defining Insurance business, functional and reporting requirements and conducting user acceptance testing for business-critical solutions in complex environments.
  • Experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter systems is required.
  • Detailed claims processing knowledge and experience.
  • Experience with Guidewire Policy Center is preferred.
  • Proven hands-on experience in writing and executing MS SQL query is required.
  • Insurance/Reinsurance industry experience and knowledge with an understanding of the terminology, business functions (Claims) and business processes.
  • Experienced with formal SDLCs and business analysis methodologies, working knowledge of business analysis documentation standards.
  • Agile Methodology experience a plus, but not required.
  • Confident in stakeholder interviews and interactions
  • Good requirements gathering & presentation skills
  • 1. Independently manage P&C insurance business analysis/requirements/specification/product backlog assignments
  • 2. Provide required domain/functional support in all areas of project implementation, as and when required.
  • 3. Provide Fitment/GAP analysis of business requirements/features
  • 4. Prepare & provide best in class functional deliverables on time
  • 5. Work with multiple stakeholders e.g. delivery leads, account management, clients, operational excellence and other teams
  • 6. Engage directly with Client stakeholders
  • Extensive knowledge of P&C insurance Personal/Commercial/Speciality lines in ClaimCenter
  • Strong proficiency in English language, including verbal and written
