A Senior Software Engineer in the capacity domain will work closely with your small and focused team of 3-5 engineers. You will deliver high impact software that maximizes value for our customers. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Product Manager and other developers across the company to design and build a real-time, web-based system for freight management, including React UI and other microservices.

Requirements
- Strong Experience with Node.js and TypeScript is a must
- Strong Experience with GraphQL is a must
- Strong Experience with NoSQL technology Azure Cosmos – strong hold on optimizing read-write operations, tuning and performance with Cosmos DB is a must
- Experience in Kafka or similar event-streaming technologies is a must
- Experience working with RESTful APIs is a must and SaaS application development is a plus
- Experience with SQL and RDBMS
- Experience in cloud infrastructure is a must (Azure is preferred)
- 7+ years of practical experience in software development, including designing, building, deploying, and maintaining web applications
- Experience with React or similar frameworks
- Experience in observability tools like New Relic is a plus
- Experience in performance testing with tools like K6, JMeter etc. is a plus
- Ability to understand complicated problems and craft into simple build solutions that can be maintained by the rest of the team
- Ability to train and mentor junior engineers
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices
- Strong communication skills
- Compassion and empathy and a great attitude to learn
- Experience in logistics industry a plus
