•             Develop algorithms for flexible robotic tools (specifically, sensing and dynamics).

•             Design and establish testing methods for analyzing algorithm performance.

•             Propose and implement robotic tool control schemes for novel devices.

•             Write robust software within a quick growing environment across multiple software applications.

•             Work closely with other robotics engineers, software engineers, and mechanical engineers as part of a multi-functional team.

•             Participate in design discussions and code reviews.

Required:

•             Minimum B.S (Computer Science, Robotics, Mechatronics, or other related Engineering field equivalent) and 2+ years industry experience with proven success in Robotics or M.S. or Ph. D. and 1+ years industry experience with proven success in Robotics.

•             Proactive self-starter with hands-on experience with algorithm development and implementation for robotic systems.

•             Knowledge and experience with basic principles pertaining to distributed Robotics Software Architecture/Design.

•             Experience with, and intuition for, physical and mechanical systems.

•             Experience with cross-platform software development and version control systems (Git, etc.).

•             Proficiency in Object Oriented Programming (e.g., Python, C++).
