We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Project Manager to join our Digital Workplace and IT Department at WPP
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex IT projects, ensuring timely delivery, and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes
The Technical Project Manager will take ownership of projects related to our digital workplace transformation and play a vital role in streamlining processes and enhancing our technical capabilities
What youll be doing:
Oversee and manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring that objectives are clearly defined, timelines are met, and resources are efficiently utilised.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including risk assessments, resource allocation, and contingency planning.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Operations, Finance, and Human Resources, to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with organisational goals.
Establish and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing concerns in a timely manner.
Implement project management best practices and methodologies, ensuring compliance with WPPs standards and processes.
Identify and resolve project-related issues, making informed decisions to mitigate risks and maintain project momentum.
Continuously monitor project progress, evaluating and reporting on performance metrics to ensure timely delivery and achievement of desired outcomes.
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the Digital Workplace and IT Department, encouraging the adoption of new technologies and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
What youll need:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Masters degree or relevant certifications are highly desirable.
Proven experience in managing complex IT projects, with a strong focus on digital workplace transformation and technology implementation.
Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices, including Agile and Waterfall.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
