Our client is looking for a Project Manager to manage medium to large size projects. These projects will be supporting a variety of needs in the PMO and will be supporting any one of these business units including: Supply Chain, HR, Finance, R&D, Commercial, Sales, etc. This person will be working with the PMO as well as the IS counterparts and a 3rd party who is executing the work. The ideal PM will be really strong and have experience in PM and leadership skills. The PM is the driver for project delivery and is responsible for leading the team through planning and execution. Key responsibilities are to create scope document and manage scope changes, create and manage detailed project plans, create and manage resource plans, create and manage financial plans, manage risks/Action Items/issues, status updates, etc. They need to be in constant communication with the team to keep everyone's focus on the right activities and work together through issues/barriers. The PM will also need to keep the project Stakeholders informed, and partner with their team to escalate as needed.
Project Manager Requirements:
- Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in project management, business systems analysis, software development or deployment, with a minimum of 3 years' experience managing waterfall or agile projects.
- Very high proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Project Office or other Project Management tools such as Clarity and Rally
- Excellent leadership, verbal and written communication skills and also problem-solving and interpersonal skills that facilitate effective interactions within cross-functional teams
- Composure under pressure. self-starter, and collaborative working style
- Ability to influence stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects and client interactions concurrently (project management and time management skills)
- Ability to manage an integrated plan across other project components
- Ability to monitoring critical path and dependencies
- Ability to collaborate with other project managers and program support to ensure program cohesion and work efficiencies
- Deeply experienced with the entire project lifecycle from idea generation through project closure. This also includes the development, monitoring and controlling of project schedules, budget/spend, resource plans, quality plans and communications, as well as standard project management practices
Preference:
- Experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods and/or retail industry
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously (medium-very large revenue-generating projects) for the sales, marketing and business intelligence and analytics space such as shelf-planning, retail execution, retail analytics and reporting, eCommerce, digital marketing, etc.
- Experience with technology such as Data Warehousing or Big Data solutions, analytics solut
