JOB DETAIL


The purpose of the role is to help advance the organization’s strategic projects as defined in GREFP’s strategic road-map. This role will be primarily assigned to a Workload Optimization project, tasked with analysing workload versus resource capacity across multiple corporate administrative areas. This will be accomplished by performing collection, analysis and reporting of data associated with the workload estimation and capacity planning. This is not a Information Technology role.

The Business Analyst achieves the objectives of the role, primarily using Micro Soft Excel, Teams and Share Point, to:
• Develop, administer and maintain data collection (primarily in in excel)
• Conduct quality review of the collected data
• Perform data trending, analysis, visualization of results
• Prepare presentations in power point for non-technical audiences including senior and executive management within corporate administrative areas.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 
• Support a project team with the development of a work-breakdown methodology and a tool (using MicorSoft desk top applications) for collecting resource allocations across ~ 300+ employees in multiple geographies.
• Conduct group information and working sessions with global audiences to explain how the method-ology and tool works
• Partner with a variety of stakeholders to collect resource allocation data
• Collect results and perform data review and trending to ensure quality
• Monitor completeness of data collection in accordance with a pre-defined collection schedule
• Consolidate results and perform analysis to identify workload trends. Insights and opportunities
• Prepare executive ready summarization of trends and visualization to convey results, using Excel (and potentially Power BI)
• Conduct read-outs of results and findings with audiences ranging from senior managers to executives.


EDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
• Bachelors Degree (e.g. Management or Business Administration).
• Advanced Excel skills, including:
o Structuring data collection methods in Excel
o Managing data collection through excel
o Embedding quality controls within excel workbooks
o Using advanced excel formulas / pivot tables and other advanced functionalities to validate, analyze and visualize data
o Creating graphs and visualization using excel
o Developing macros to manage data aggregation / validation would be a strong plus

• Advanced PowerPoint skills, including preparing professional presentations, including story lines, insights and visualization
• Experienced with building Sharepoint solutions
• Experienced with MicroSoft Teams solutions including Teams, Channels, Polls, Forms
• Knowledge or workforce or workload planning, workload balancing methods
