Roles & Responsibilities:
• Provide ETL Solutions using Talend, SQL and involve in collating and defining business requirements while directly interacting with upstream systems / Source systems and Users.
• Design, Develop and Unit Test ETL components using Talend.
• Prepare ETL Mapping Document and Detailed Design Document for Talend.
• Implement generic code methodology in order to increase the reusability in case of enhancement activity.
• Review and Provide recommendations for ETL code developed by team.
• Coordinate with the Testing Team for System Integration Testing and review test evidence.
• Coordinate with Upstream/Downstream Systems for SIT and Users for User Acceptance Testing.
• Prepare Production Deployment plan and Coordinate with Admin Team for code migration to Production.
• Postproduction validation after go-live.
• Implementing the best practices and coding standards of the project.
• Design and ingest high volume data into the warehouse.
• Write shell scripts required for processing the files, scheduling ETL.
• Write SQL stored procedures using PL/SQL to ingest data.
• Strong knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Shall work with the team in scheduling the ETL process, File transfer jobs and stored procedures, shell scripts using Control-M.
• Shall help the team in setting up the MoveIT tasks after completing initial training.
• Strong experience in Data Quality, Source Systems Analysis, Business Rules Validation, Source Target Mapping Design, Performance Tuning and High-Volume Data Loads.
• Work independently and multi-task to meet critical deadlines in a rapidly changing environment.
• Flexible to work additional hours on an as needed basis to meet deadlines.
• Should work in overlapping hours with a team working in other time zones in case required.
• Should work in Agile methodology and must participate in planning, estimating, retrospective and daily stand-up.
