The Sr. Cloud DevOps Engineer with strong Infrastructure background anddata factory and data engineering exp. to join the enterprise Cloud Innovationteam. The candidate will have significant experience in designing anddelivering innovative products and solutions using DevOps and latest cloudtechnologies and would join a Cloud Innovation team focused on deliveringstrategic projects partnering with a variety of business and technology teamsto accelerate their business transformation.

ResponsibilitiesMay Include

 

?Collaborate with Business, Security, Architect,and various Cloud teams to develop tools, solutions, automation, and patternsto solve problems and drive value.

?Work closely with Data engineering, Operations,and information security teams to automate and support infrastructure andtooling in cloud-based platforms.

?Leverage infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, AWSCloud Formation, Azure ARM) to architect and provision all workload resourcesand components using cloud-agnostic and/or cloud-native tooling.

?Apply automated deployment tool sets andinfrastructure including environments and code management using ContinuousIntegration and Continuous Delivery processes.

?Build solutions based on security, monitoring,logging, and alerting requirements. Integrate on-premise solutions with Cloudresources.

?Monitor application performance and detectconditions affecting the health of IT cloud services in various cloudplatforms.

?Drive the implementation and rollout ofapplication reliability, including disaster recovery.

?Provide guidance and apply agile andDevOps/DevSecOps practices to streamline product delivery and reliableoperations of products.

?Identifies automation opportunities wherepossible to minimize all human interventions, increase transaction speeds, andthe flow of information.

PositionRequirements Basic/Required

?Bachelor’s degree

?5 or more years of IT related experience

?3 or more years of experience working withcloud-based platforms in an enterprise environment

?2 or more years of software engineeringexperience in a team-based environment

?Experience with programming tools, computerinterfaces, and application architectures

?Experience designing, deploying and monitoringinfrastructure in public clouds (AWS, Azure) using Infrastructure as Code(Terraform, Cloud Formation, Azure ARM)

?Experience with Pipeline Build/Release and CI/CDdeployment build tools (Azure Devops)

?Experience with source code management tools(Azure Devops, Git)

?Knowledge of scripting languages (Python,PowerShell)

?Advanced knowledge of on-premise and cloud-basednetworking, firewalls and network security

?Experience deploying, managing, operating andmonitoring applications in scalable, highly available and fault tolerant datacenters (both on-premise and hosted)

?Experience learning, sharing, and implementingbest practices with the ability to establish operational processes, implementDevOps, deployment checklists

?Familiarity of container orchestration withKubernetes

Preferred

?Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,Engineering, or relevant field

?Cloud Certified DevOps Engineer preferred (i.e.AWS, Azure, other)

?Strong written, verbal, and presentation skillsto effectively communicate to both technical and non-technical audiencesadjusting style to fit the target audience including multiple levels ofmanagement

?Significant and relevant Oil & Gas ortechnical industry experience, especially downstream

?Strong/Expert knowledge of containerprovisioning and management (Docker/Kubernetes)

?Experience with multiple programming languages

?HashiCorp Stack knowledge (Terraform,Consul/Vault)
