The Operations Quality Assurance Engineer position is within THE CLIENT Securities, TEC-Corporate Technology. Act as Quality Assurance Engineer responsible for testing of projects for the Operations department. The Operations department services to THE CLIENT Branches and relevant Front offices to deliver best in class client experience & business growth in a controlled environment. Operations is responsible for markets Settlement, Payment & Cash Clearing/Funding, post-settlement activities, Reconciliations Control and Regulatory Reporting

We are looking for a dedicated QA-minded professional, who likes to provide practical solutions. Our QA team focuses on testing all software products regardless of their platform. This role will report into a Program Lead in Technology and will be accountable for the core responsibilities identified. This role will require the leadership and coordination of various resources and the delivery of new processes, procedures, technology, coordinating and conducting validation before product/project launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs.

Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for testing front end and back end of the applications supporting Markets business. It is hands on position, you will be required to provide test strategy, test estimation, write and execute test cases, build test automation where it is applicable. Additional responsibilities include work closely with the stakeholders, project manager, business analysts and the application developers, utilize functional documentation and technical specifications to facilitate the creation and execution of manual and automated test scripts, perform data analysis and creation of test data, track and help resolve defects. Ensure that all testing is conducted and documented in adherence with THE CLIENT standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience working with various Broker/Dealer products securities processing including Equities, Bonds, Treasuries, ABS, MBS, Securitized Products, Repos/Reverse Repo, Stock Borrow/Loan.
• Experience with Industry wide initiatives within a global bank supporting the settlements & clearing function- T+3 to T+2 Project experience
• Years of experience working in a role spanning from Front office to Back office including finance and Risk
• Prior experience in delivering Operations related projects, familiarity with processes and controls
• Experience with middle office systems and collateral management
• Experience working with Broadridge systems – Finpro/ BPS/ Impact (Preferred)
• Streamline interface to the business to end to end operational processes supporting the securities and derivatives product
• Warehouse and test all Cash, Stock, FOBO and Inter-system reconciliations and help to investigate to fine-tune the delivery.
• QA coordinator/Manager with proven track record of stakeholder engagement and management
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and SDLC (Agile and Waterfall)
• Hands on experience in Test Strategy, Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Execution and Defect Management
• Hands on experience in creating and executing  test scenarios, test cases, functional testing, regression testing, data driven testing and meeting their SLAs
• Able to independently review and analyze business requirements; evaluate data sources, business rules etc...
• Strong understanding of SQL concepts – must have experience in Oracle, SQL Server databases
• Control M experience and SSIS – able to run jobs independently (Preferred)
• Experience with Datawarehouse, Data lake MS Azure (Preferred)
• Experience with testing tools such as JIRA, Test Rail, TestNG etc…
• Automation experience is a plus in Java, Selenium, Maven, IntelliJ Idea
