JOB DETAIL

  • 6- 8 yrs of exp with Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a software developer, preferably in the domain of real-time payments or financial services.
  • Strong programming skills in languages like Java, C++, or Python, with experience in developing distributed systems and scalable applications.
  • Familiarity with real-time payment protocols and standards such as ISO 20022 and experience working with the FedNow platform or similar real-time payment systems is highly desirable.
  • Experience with API design and development, including RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices, data encryption, and vulnerability management.
  • Design, develop, and implement software applications and systems that enable real-time payment processing using the FedNow platform.
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solution designs.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using appropriate programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python) and frameworks.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software components to ensure high quality and reliable performance of real-time payment applications.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure proper testing and validation of software deliverables.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to optimize the efficiency and scalability of the payment systems.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in real-time payment technologies, including new features and capabilities offered by the FedNow platform.
  • Participate in code reviews, contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers when needed.
  • Adhere to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Document technical specifications, system architecture, and user guides as necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective integration of real-time payment solutions with other systems and applications.
