Job description: We are looking for a Cloud Application Developer for a long-term project that will help our customer’s data collection team to build a unified digital platform. This platform will enable our customer (and their customers) to provision, monitor, and collect data from IOT connected smart utilities metering devices.

Duties will entail

Collaborate with team to build and deliver cloud native software
Work within an Agile Development environment, taking part in daily standups, sprint planning, epic workshops, task/user story ownership, participate in code reviews, deliver assigned tasks within the customer development cycle
Write, test, integrate, debug, and troubleshoot software
Desired Skills/Experience

Strong individual contributor-level experience in a related software development field
BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Experience with microservices architecture and containerization: Docker and Kubernetes
Azure Cloud experience
Deploying cloud solutions
Network services
Setting up and monitoring connectivity
Exposure to security and firewalls is nice to have
Development in Java or Python
CI/CD processes for cloud native software
