Sr. Front-End Developer

 

What you do:

 

The Senior Front-end Developer provides technical leadership and collaborates with other User Experience Design and scrum team members. This role provides guidance to develop, maintain, and support interactive sites, applications and web services for the enterprise's internal and external users. They also maintain a broad understanding of user experience and design with a visual aesthetic to create engaging, user-centered experiences.

 

· Lead front-end development and work as part of agile teams to deliver high quality, secure, standards compliant, accessible, and browser compatible solutions

 

· Strategize, define, and implement team processes, policies, procedures and best practices

 

· Provide subject matter expertise, technical leadership, and code reviews to other developers in both Digital Experience and IT

 

· Collaborate with product management and user experience teams to define business & technical requirements supporting user stories in an agile environment

 

· Design solutions that properly separate concerns using MVC patterns and utilize web services and APIs

 

· Develop user interfaces with mobile-first responsive web design using accessible and scalable HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks

 

What you bring:

 

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, web development, or equivalent professional experience

 

· 8-10 years of experience

 

· Experience with large-scale distributed systems, web-oriented architectures, and content management Systems

 

· Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles

 

· Strong experience with object-oriented JavaScript and CSS

 

· Strong experience with building and maintaining React applications

 

· Strong experience with test-driven development using tools like Jest and Enzyme

 

· Proficient with object-oriented and functional JavaScript

 

· Advanced experience coding with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript

 

· Experience with CSS preprocessors

 

· Strong experience with front-end frameworks and design systems; PatternLab, Storybook

 

· Fluent with version control; Git preferred

 

· Fluent in modern front-end build processes; Gulp and Webpack preferred

 

· Familiarity with accessibility standards and experience with accessibility testing

 

· Experience with Sitecore components and integration is a plus
