Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
• At least 6 years total development experience
• 4-year web application or services experience
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
• 5+ years of total development experience
• 4+ years of web application experience
• Airline Industry experience
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, common data structures and algorithms, design patterns and best practices
• Proficiency and demonstrated experience in the following technologies:
o J2EE technologies: Java, JSP, JMS, JAXB, JDBC
o Web Services: REST/SOAP (JSON/WSDL/XML)
o Front-end and other frameworks: Spring Framework , Angular JS, Ext JS, CSS, React
o Database and persistence frameworks: Object/Relational Mapping, Query performance tuning
o Web Servers: Tomcat tcServer, Websphere
o Build/deployment tools: Maven, Git, Junit
o Other: Linux/Unix shell Scripting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Experience in Azure cloud technologies
• Experience in Agile methodologies
• Experience in DevOps Toolchain technologies
• Experience with containers and container management solutions like Docker, Kubernetes, and Rancher
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code environments, including activities around the automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, or monitoring and testing, including continuous integration and continuous delivery
• Ability to scrutinize applications and services to ensure they adhere to security standards
• Excellent prioritization and time management skills
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem solving abilities
• Personal commitment to Agile principles and a continuous improvement mindset
• Knowledge of TDD and automated testing
• Knowledge of diagnostics tools (SOAPUI, Fiddler, IE Inspector, HTTP Analyzer, Dynatrace)
