JOB SUMMARY

A key account manager's main role is to retain top customers and nurture those key relationships over time. Ideally, they become a strategic partner and advisor to the client, discovering new opportunities to work together for mutual benefit.


ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
 

  • To act as the main point of contact in all matters relating to client concerns and needs.
  • To develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to achieve long-term partnerships and to ensure they do not turn to competition.
  • To Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives and ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
  • To stay on top of accounts, making sure theyre receiving services that are within their budget and meeting their needs.
  • To take inquiries and requests from customers and address their needs.
  • To meet regularly with other members of the team to discuss progress and find new ways to improve business.
  • To maintain accurate client records, keeping track of any contract updates and renewals.
  • To prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
  • To serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams.
  • To resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
  • To play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships.
  • To identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities and communicate with the sales team regularly.

QUALIFICATION
