Summary of Work:

 SharePoint – Technology Analyst administrator to assist in managing the Digital Services SharePoint environment and implement various SharePoint collaboration sites. This position will work with JCC staff and SharePoint developer to help configuring our SharePoint platform, add document libraries, develop shared storage space and backup procedures, and create various SharePoint sites. The Technology Analyst, under direction of Judicial Council management and staff, will also assist with governance, testing, tier 3 support tickets best practices, develop training materials, conduct training, and knowledge transfer to staff.

Minimum Job Specific Skills/Qualifications Required (in order of relative importance):

  • Bachelors degree in information technology, computer science, or similar.
  • At least 3 years experience as a SharePoint administrator.
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems, Power BI, PowerShell, and Office 365.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint tools, workflows, and SharePoint forms for tasks.
  • Experience with Cloud and Hybrid SharePoint deployments and migrating from on premises to the cloud. 
  • Advanced skills with SharePoint, O365, and cloud solutions with a broad technology background as a core foundation.

Description of Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Create JCIT Central Hub SharePoint Site. Work with our developer to Design and Develop a portal unifying various existing sites. 
  • Work on site content for our Center of Excellence SharePoint site and develop tools and resources for users.
  • Adding users, setting up roles, controlling access to document libraries, and setting permissions.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving SharePoint issues or malfunctions.
  • Providing SharePoint support and end user training.
  • Meeting with the design team to review website and application requirements.
  • Setting tasks and goals.
  • Configuring the SharePoint systems to specified requirements for various SharePoint sites.
  • Communicate with the business to gather business problems and translate them into solution concepts and document requirements.
  • Administer and maintain site and provision sub sites.
  • Manage site layout (look and feel) and structure.
  • Provide first point of contact for end user issues.
  • Work with projects, operation leaders, and teams to develop specific solutions and artifacts and explore new ways of providing customer value.
  • Research and analyze industry best practices and innovations to see if they can be applied to the collection to improve workflow and quality delivery. 
  • Track and monitor whether the project is delivered within budget, on schedule, and in scope.
  • Work with projects to document requirements and work on SharePoint backlog. 
  • Provide guidance to business users on the structure of their sites.  
  • Other tasks as assigned.
