The NC Department of Health and Human Services seeks a contractor to assist with the Azure Synapse Data Pipeline configuration, design, development and testing for the Power BI dash boards that are developed as part of the FNS ARPA BIA project in NC Families Accessing Services through Technology (NC FAST). The selected candidate will analyze and identify reporting requirements for the dash boards and develop and implement the data pipelines using the Azure Synapse and develop the dash boards using Power BI to effectively report data of mid to high level complexity in Power BI and develop applications using Power Apps.

Required / Desired Skills:

- Build data analytics solutions using Azure Synapse serverless SQL pools - Required 7 Years

- Performing data engineering with Azure Synapse Apache Spark Pools- Required 7 Years

- Working with Data Warehouses using Azure Synapse Analytics- Required 5 Years

- Transferring and transforming data with Azure Synapse Analytics pipelines- Required 5 Years

- Experience configuring, designing, developing and testing dash boards using Power BI-Required 5 Years

- Experience in using Oracle, Oracle Utilities, ETL tools or any other relational database and tools- Required 5 Years

- Experience with PL/SQL or other database scripting and Relational Database modeling.- Required 5 Years

- Experience with structured system development methodologies-  Required 5 Years

- Ability to develop relationships/partnerships with customer by responding to needs and exhibiting an sense of urgency; independently identify options- Required 5 Years
