Background:  Plenium Corporation  supporting the management, design, development, testing, and implementation of this strategic Information Technology (IT) program.  MD THINK is an innovative, cloud-based platform and solution enabling multiple State agencies to share and manage data in one convenient place.  MD THINK modernizes all the major health and human services systems in the State of Maryland and integrates multiple state health and human services programs and applications that support the most vulnerable citizens. 

 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

Informatica MDM Configuration: Configure and customize Informatica MDM to implement the Party Model, defining entity types, relationships, business rules, match and merge strategies, and user interfaces. 

 Data Modeling: Work with data architects and stakeholders to design and maintain the data model for partyrelated entities within the MDM system, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.   Data Integration: Integrate data from various source systems into Informatica MDM, performing data profiling, cleansing, and transformation to ensure data quality and integrity. 

 Match and Merge: Implement match and merge rules to identify and consolidate duplicate records within the party entities, enabling a single and accurate view of each entity.

  Data Quality Management: Define and implement data quality rules and workflows within the MDM system to monitor, measure, and improve data quality across partyrelated data.

  Data Governance: Ensure adherence to data governance principles and data security best practices during MDM implementation and data management processes. 

 Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks within the MDM system and optimize data loading, matching, and retrieval processes for efficient and seamless data operations.

   Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data architects, data analysts, and business users, to understand data requirements and deliver MDM solutions that meet business needs.

  Testing and Validation: Conduct unit testing and integration testing to validate MDM configurations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data within the MDM repository. 

 Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and troubleshooting manuals for the MDM implementation.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.

 

General Experience:

At least six (6) years of experience in MDM Development experience with a focus on Informatica MDM and Party Model implementation.

 In-depth knowledge of Informatica MDM tools, including MDM Hub, Data Director, and ActiveVOS, and their functionalities for party entities. 

 Familiarity with data modeling principles and data integration techniques. 

 Strong understanding of data quality management and data governance practices within an MDM environment. 

 Proficiency in data profiling, data cleansing, and data transformation processes.

  Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot MDM-related issues. 

 Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders. 

 Prior experience with other MDM tools or cloud-based MDM solutions is advantageous. 

 Informatica MDM certifications, such as Informatica MDM Developer Specialist or Informatica MDM Administrator Specialist, are highly desirable.
