JOB DETAIL

Review and Analysis:
Thoroughly review and analyze the legacy .NET codebase to identify pain points, areas for improvement, and potential challenges in the migration process.
Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to gather insights into the existing application's functionalities, strengths, and weaknesses.
Migration Strategy:
Lead the creation of a comprehensive migration and modernization roadmap, outlining the step-by-step process to transition from the legacy system to an AWS-based architecture with React frontend.
Determine the appropriate architectural patterns and design considerations for improved performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Architecture and Design Enhancement:
Propose and implement architecture and design improvements that align with modern best practices and technologies.
Incorporate microservices architecture, API patterns, and other relevant architectural concepts to create a robust and flexible system.
Technical Expertise:
Leverage deep knowledge of .NET internals and basics to optimize code performance and maintainability during the migration process.
Implement architectural deployments and utilize service mesh to enhance application resilience and monitoring capabilities.
Cloud Migration and Frontend Development:
Oversee the migration of .NET applications to AWS, ensuring seamless integration with AWS services and cloud-native capabilities.
Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate React and TypeScript components into the application, focusing on delivering a modern and user-friendly interface.
Migration Roadmap Support:
Provide guidance and support to development teams throughout the migration process, addressing any challenges that arise.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between migration milestones and business objectives.
Proof of Concepts (POCs) and Quick Migrations:
Conduct small-scale POCs to validate the feasibility of migration strategies and new architectural approaches.
Facilitate quick migrations of specific application components, showcasing iterative progress and improvements.
Practical Application:
Demonstrate a strong track record of building and delivering applications, showcasing your ability to translate architectural concepts into tangible results.
Fundamental Understanding:
Possess a deep understanding of basic and fundamental concepts in software development, cloud computing, and modern architectural patterns.
 

Qualification and Requirement

 

Very strong .net, React and AWS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience in .NET application development, architecture design, and migration to AWS.
Strong understanding of microservices, API patterns, architectural deployments, and service mesh.
Proficiency in .NET internals, along with a solid foundation in software design principles.
Experience with frontend technologies, particularly React and TypeScript.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
