This request is for a Software Architect Expert to work in the OCFS Bureau of Research, Evaluation and Performance Analytics (BREPA) using the necessary tools to create XML files and extensive knowledge working with data exchange standards for sharing Human Services related data for State and Federal Government data submissions.  IBM Cognos Business Intelligence (BI) Tool to create Cognos reporting packages and reports, and to fulfil ad hoc requests on an as needed basis.  To include all-encompassing comprehensive experience in JavaScript coding to enhance Cognos functionality and implement data validations for Cognos 11.2 reports. This position will also support the reporting needs addressed directly through the DJJOY application (i.e., JJIS).
A senior role with comprehensive experience in developing data models, data mappings, data migrations and facilitate/accommodate data warehouse and Oracle needs from a design perspective for IBM Cognos Report Development and Oracle Database tables/ETL.  Additionally, in depth understanding of Relational databases including designing tables, applying constraints, Functions, Stored Procedures, Views, and complex SQL objects.
This resource is critical to continue reporting, analysis and measurement of data contained in the DJJOY application. In addition to the DJJOY responsibilities this resource must have intimate knowledge of data exchanges needed to create, validate and submit reporting to the Federal Government.
