Duties & Responsibilities:
- A Senior Engineer is responsible for developing, designing, and testing software applications and systems.
- You’ll be involved in designing and developing software applications for a variety of platforms, such as mobile and web. Developing and implementing software coding standards, and conducting code reviews to ensure code quality. Researching and suggesting new technologies and methods for software development.
- Understanding scope and expectations when trying to achieve a deliverable product on time and of the highest quality with taking into consideration development and executing unit, functional, and integration tests. Documenting software design and the development processes.
- With Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, you possess the ability to troubleshoot and resolve software application and system issues as well as identifying and implementing process improvements.
- You are willing and able to work solely or closely with other engineers to ensure integration of different components. Excellent collaboration with team members to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to the highest standards.
- Interpersonal skills form a critical component of the Senior Engineer role. Beyond the technical acumen, you're expected to display excellent collaboration and communication abilities. You'll interface regularly with diverse teams, such as product management, UX designers, and other stakeholders, to translate complex requirements into robust software solutions. Your ability to listen, articulate ideas clearly, handle feedback effectively, and cultivate positive relationships is key to fostering an inclusive, innovative environment that promotes mutual respect and teamwork.
